The Key to Enrichment

The Key to Enrichment

In the Classroom

Are you an accelerated math teacher or the parent of a gifted child?  IXL provides a stimulating learning environment designed to challenge students and enrich their understanding of math concepts!

Because IXL offers access to all grade levels from Pre-K through Geometry, students can work at the level most appropriate for them, regardless of their age.  Accelerated students are free to practice in a higher grade level, where they will be confronted not only with more advanced topics but also with more difficult question types, like drawing a histogram or interpreting a line graph.

If a student is doing well on a topic, the questions will get harder to ensure that he or she feels challenged and remains engaged in the material.  Gifted students also get a thrill from watching their SmartScore stack up and are sure to keep a close eye on it as they work their way towards mastery.  They won’t be satisfied until they’ve reached 100!

Above all, IXL lets students work at their own pace.  Rather than being constrained by traditional timelines, accelerated students are free to advance as they like, to infinity…and beyond!

Very good programme! Highly recommended. It has everything. Some questions, even first-grade questions, are well thought out and challenging. The reward system is highly appreciated, and a necessary ingredient.

Our school is a very small school in Tate County, MS. I am the instructional coach at Coldwater Attendance Center. Since January, I have been helping out teaching 5th & 6th grade math. We have incorporated IXL into our remediation and enrichment lessons as well as whole group fun Friday. We are already at 130,000 problems. We read about the party given to a lucky winner who submits a picture using IXL. We are dedicated to IXL and love how much it has helped our students. We use it as whole group, small group, and individual learning. We plan on using it for our Summer School program for grades k-8 as well. Thank you! Is there a particular email to send the pictures?
