1. ISTE 2013
June 23-26 in San Antonio, TX
With 13,000 attendees and nearly 700 sessions, the International Society for Technology in Education conference is one of the largest ed tech expos in the world. Learn about cutting edge ed tech solutions and meet other educators passionate about using technology to engage students.
2. 2013 ASCD Conference on Teaching Excellence
June 28-30 in National Harbor, MD
The ASCD conference is dedicated to the topic of teaching excellence. The event brings teachers up to date on best practices in the classroom, how to apply them, and how to scale them system-wide.
3. NAESP 2013
July 11-13 in Baltimore, MD
The National Association of Elementary School Principals attracts teachers, principals, superintendents, and other education experts from around the nation to discuss topics like teacher recruitment and retention, improving student learning, and running the best possible building.
4. 2013 Institute for Middle Level Leadership
July 14-17 in Las Vegas, NV
In addition to hosting an annual conference in the fall, the Association of Middle Level Education (AMLE) also hosts special events in the summer for principals, teacher leaders, superintendents, guidance counselors, school board members, and other middle grades leaders working with students ages 10-15
5. Common Core NOW Institute
