At Home, In the Classroom

Congratulations on finishing another school year! We hope it was a good one, full of learning, growth, and recognition for your hard work—whether you’re a parent, teacher, administrator, or student.

In this spirit of recognition, we wanted to share some cool milestones you helped us reach over the past nine months:

  • 3.3 million new student accounts were created
  • 3.7 million students logged in and practiced on IXL
  • 47.2 million IXL skills were mastered
  • 18.9 million hours of practice were completed by signed-in users
  • 3 billion problems were answered by signed-in users

Keep up the good work this summer (beware the summer slide!), but remember to have some fun, too. Enjoy the rest of your hard-earned break!

I was one of student joining IXL exactly 9 months ago as a third grader. I have completed near 20,000 problems. I learnt everything from IXL from 3rd grade and up. Without taking any math class, without any math book reading, nothing else except IXL, I have earned 100% proficiency in 7th grade, 55% proficiency in 8th grade, 25% proficiency in 9th grade(algebra), and 10% proficiency in 10th grade(geometry).

Besides that, I took the Princeton Review SAT test, I got 720 in math. I think it’s pretty good for a 8 year old kid.

I am wondering: is there any other kid benefit more from IXL than me?!
