Exciting news: we’ve recently expanded our language arts awards to our youngest learners and to high schoolers! We know how much students love receiving recognition for all of their hard work, and now, they’ll win fun, colorful prizes for all their accomplishments on IXL. Keep reading to get a peek at the new awards, then check them out on IXL.

Each grade level features a unique set of themed awards to keep students motivated. Super-cute stuffed animals, wind-up toys, and keychain prizes appeal to the playful side of our youngest learners, while unique book covers bring classic literature to life and cultivate curiosity among high schoolers.

Just like with our existing language arts awards, students will be rewarded for a variety of achievements, including days practiced, total questions answered, correct questions in a row, and more.

As students practice, they’ll uncover new challenges and see how close they are to reaching that next milestone—just the motivation boost they need to persevere!

Power tip: Students can proudly display their favorite award as their avatar by simply dragging and dropping the desired prize to the username in the upper right hand corner.
