How to launch Instant Review

Getting started is easy!

• Go to your “My IXL” tab and select Instant Review under “Engagement Tools”.
• Choose your class(es) and subject(s) on which you want to focus.
• Launch your session in Presentation mode, where you can present and walk through questions on your screen while students follow along—no student devices needed.

During your review session

Once your session is underway, you’ll guide your class step by step through each question. In Presentation mode, you can pause to explain thinking, spotlight strategies, and make sure your students are building understanding together.

 

Your review recap

At the end of your session, you’ll get a helpful summary that links directly to your Trouble Spots report. In Presentation mode, you’ll see a recap of the skills and questions you covered, and you can revisit this summary anytime in your teacher notifications center.
