We’re excited to reopen our casting call for the next group of IXL Minis student creators! This is a unique chance for students to share their voices, spotlight their learning journeys, and show peers how IXL can help them grow, stay motivated, and reach their goals.
The opportunity: IXL Minis for students
IXL Minis for students is a growing collection of short, engaging videos created for learners and featuring learners. Launched in October 2025, the series gives students practical tips for using IXL—whether that’s preparing for a test, building confidence in a new concept, or staying on track with long-term learning goals.
We’re now expanding the series and looking for new creators who can pitch ideas, develop video concepts, and show real-world ways they use IXL to succeed.

Who we’re looking for
This opportunity is perfect for students who:
- Are current high school students or recent graduates (ages 14-22)
- Are current or past IXL users who are very familiar with the platform
- Feel comfortable and natural on camera
- Are enthusiastic about education and helping their peers
Students who are thoughtful about how they learn, comfortable sharing their experiences, and excited to help their peers will be great candidates!
What student creators will do
Selected students will script, concept, film, and appear on camera in each brief video. Videos will focus on IXL topics and personal learning experiences, including things like: preparing for tests with skill plans, using instructional resources, and staying motivated with IXL. Working with the IXL Video Team, creators will craft effective videos that show off authentic strategies and practical advice to help their peers tackle diverse challenges, get inspired, and reach their goals.
What selected students will gain
This opportunity allows learners to strengthen communication skills, explore creative storytelling, and build confidence in sharing their ideas. Creators receive $200 for each completed video, with opportunities for ongoing collaboration on future projects. The final video can also serve as valuable, portfolio-ready work for future academic or extracurricular pursuits.
How to apply
Interested students can apply using the form below! The application includes a brief 60-second video submission, where students share who they are, how they use IXL, and why they’d like to join the creator team. Selected applicants will be invited to a virtual callback with the IXL team.
