Extended audio support for IXL Math!

May 22, 2019

At Home, In the Classroom

Have you heard? We’ve extended audio support for math practice and math questions in the Continuous Diagnostic to grades 6-8! This exciting update means even more learners can receive the support they need to work independently.

Whether you’re working with a student whose reading level is lower than their math level, an English language learner, or a student who could use a little extra reading support, adding audio to their practice could be the key to helping them achieve more.

If you already have extended audio support enabled on your account, you will automatically see this new audio offering. If you don’t currently have audio support enabled, just visit your Profile & settings!

I’m excited that audio is available. Please make sure middle school science is lined up with the new standards for each grade level

I attended a workshop earlier this year and was informed that the plan was to have the capability to “progress monitor” through the IXL diagnostic before the end of the school year. Any update????

Hi Mike — Thanks for writing in! We are actively working to develop a way to allow teachers and administrators to track the progress students have made on their Diagnostic levels, and to export Diagnostic data. For now, we recommend periodically printing out students’ Diagnostic printouts to keep track of their progress. We’ll be sure to share any updates on our blog and social media!
