SAT prep: IXL’s Reading and Writing Skill Plans

November 15, 2019

At Home, In the Classroom, For Admins

Have you heard? A highly-anticipated test prep resource is now available on IXL: skill plans for the Reading section and Writing and Language section of the SAT! Along with our SAT skill plan for math, students can use these handy study aids to build confidence and go into this exam ready to excel.

With IXL’s SAT Reading skill plan, students can practice analyzing complex passages and answering questions about main ideas, supporting evidence, authorial intent, and more. The Writing and Language SAT skill plan helps students master key writing, grammar, and mechanics concepts so they’re prepared to edit and revise texts in that section of the SAT.

Together, these SAT skill plans strengthen students’ ELA skills and provide another handy way to prep for this critical assessment. You can find these skill plans on the language arts skill plan page! (Psst! That’s also where you’ll find custom skill plans for the ACT, NWEA MAP Growth, and TABE.)

Are you excited for this latest test prep resource? How are you using IXL’s skill plans? Share with us in the comment section below!
