If you already use IXL’s mobile app, you know that the built-in Scratchpad is a favorite feature for learners. With the Scratchpad, students can work through problems by writing on the screen. Now learners can also use the Scratchpad on IXL’s website! 

Whether you access IXL in a web browser on a computer or on a mobile device, you can use the pencil, highlighter, and eraser tools to practice skills. With these tools, learners can annotate reading passages and work out math problems directly on the screen—no scratch paper needed!

The Scratchpad is available for all subjects and can be found below the stats bar on the right-hand side of the screen. Teachers can also disable the feature on IXL’s web version by going to the Profile and settings page.
