Major releases
IXL Minis recommendations
IXL Minis are a collection of fun, bite-sized videos that provide teachers with helpful IXL strategies they can use right away. Now, Minis are placed throughout IXL, so they can help teachers in the moment, and recommend the best video for them to watch next!
IXL Minis are now available in the following places:
- The “Resources” section of the teacher dashboard
- On the Quizzes page for teachers who haven’t created a quiz yet
- The full IXL Minis page

New Personal Study Plans tab
IXL’s personalized study plans help students improve their scores on high-stakes assessments including the SAT, ACT, NWEA MAP Growth, i-Ready Diagnostic, and more! Using students’ previous assessment scores, IXL’s study plans create a custom list of skills to help each student grow from where they are in key concepts for each exam.
We’ve recently made it easier for teachers to manage all of the personalized plans their students are using with a new “Personal study plan” tab on the Skill Plans page. This new tab enables teachers to quickly differentiate study plans from their pinned skill plans, and check progress on their classroom goals.

More co-teacher supported features
IXL is continuing to make big enhancements for co-teachers, providing deeper insights so teachers can better collaborate on student learning. In our latest update, teachers have even more abilities to interact with co-taught students, including:
- Assigning IXL Quizzes
- Pinning Skill Plans
- Starting IXL Group Jams
And of course, it’s important for co-teachers to be able to see all of their relevant student data. Now, co-teachers will also share data for:
- Quiz Analysis results for a quiz assigned by a co-teacher
- Student Quickview, Student Usage, Score Grid, Student Score Chart, Skills Practiced, Skill Analysis, and Questions Log for skills suggested by a co-teacher
LevelUp Benchmark usage reporting and bulk printing
IXL’s LevelUp Math Benchmark seamlessly connects assessment and personalized practice. Now, teachers have more insight into how much time students are spending and the number of questions they’re answering on their LevelUp Math Benchmarks! LevelUp Benchmark data is now available in both the Students Quickview and Student Usage reports for in-progress and completed sessions in both benchmark and real-time mode.
Students can also view their own Benchmark sessions logs from their Student Usage report.

Plus, evaluating and sharing LevelUp Math Benchmark plans with students and parents just got easier. Teachers can now print all of their students’ Benchmark action plans at once in the Benchmark Overview report!
Similar to the IXL Diagnostic, teachers can click an icon to the right of “Individual student levels & recommendations”, which opens a prompt to print all Benchmark action plans at once.
