Major releases
Student Diagnostic Growth report
We’ve released the Student Diagnostic Growth report for teachers and students! This new report tracks students’ Diagnostic growth over the course of the school year, both overall and in each strand. It gives teachers and students a clearer way to monitor progress, celebrate growth, and identify strands that may need more targeted support.
At the top of the report, teachers and students can quickly see the student’s current level and total growth this school year, while the growth chart shows how the student’s diagnostic levels have changed over time. A table below the chart makes it easy to compare key diagnostic scores side by side, including their starting level, benchmark window scores, and current level.
This report is available for both the LevelUp™ and Flex Diagnostics and is located in the “Assessment” section under Analytics.
2025-2026 IXL Rewind
The IXL Rewind for the 2025-26 school year is now available for teachers! IXL Rewind is a personalized end-of-year celebration that highlights each teacher’s accomplishments on IXL. As the school year winds down, Rewind provides a moment for educators and their students to celebrate their unique learning milestones and memories from the past year.
In their Rewind, each teacher sees a range of stats personalized to their classroom’s usage of IXL, including data that may not be available in Analytics, such as the top award-earning students, the most difficult skill their class conquered, and their class’s favorite game! At the end of their Rewind, teachers can even download shareable highlights for social media.
The 2025-26 IXL Rewind is available for all teachers on the US edition with at least 3 hours of activity. Teachers will see a link to their Rewind on their dashboard until June 26, and after that can access their Rewind directly through ixl.com/rewind.

Feature updates
Live Classroom alert for students who may be rushing during the LevelUp™ Diagnostic
The Live Classroom report now notifies teachers in real time when students may be intentionally rushing through the LevelUp Diagnostic. This alert helps teachers maintain reliable assessment scores by flagging students who are not engaging with their diagnostic, so teachers can intervene early and encourage them to focus.

Takeoff alignment to Minnesota standards
We’ve added alignments for the Minnesota Academic Standards (adopted in 2022) for math to our K-5 Takeoff curriculum. When signed into a Takeoff account, educators in Minnesota will see their state standards in all the usual places, such as on each grade level’s landing page and at the top of each unit and lesson.
We’ve also added alignments to the Standards for Mathematical Practice to Minnesota! These standards highlight the thinking, reasoning, and communication skills that make for successful math students, and the alignments help teachers identify the most important practices to call out in each Takeoff unit, lesson, mid-unit check-in, and end-of-unit test. Additionally, the “Math practices” tab on unit outline pages offers specific tips for supporting these practices in the classroom.
Additional Takeoff California Edition grades K-2 independent practice
For the California Edition of Takeoff, we’ve released English independent practice pages for kindergarten units 1-11, 1st grade units 1-13, and 2nd grade units 1-11. This means we now offer practice pages in English for all grade levels in the California Edition!
We’ve also added Spanish practice pages for 2nd grade units 1-11, and we plan to release Spanish pages for the remaining grade levels in the coming months.
As a reminder, teachers can find independent practice pages and answer keys within the materials list for the lessons where they’re available.

New math skills for CA, UK, and AU
We released a large number of new math skills in our Canadian, Australian, and UK editions! Some examples include:
- In the Canada Grade 1 skill Indirect comparison, students develop spatial reasoning skills by deducing which of two objects is longer or shorter by measuring with a third. This skill is also available in UK Year 2 and Australia Year 1.
- In the UK Year 2 skill Write stories involving repeated addition – sums to 25, students solve problems to help build the foundations for understanding multiplication. We have also released versions of this skill in Year 2 for Australia and Grade 2 for Canada.
- In the Australia Year 3 skill Multiplication and division: real-world patterns, students learn to identify and extend relationships between two sets of numbers presented in real-world contexts. This skill moves students beyond simple arithmetic and into the realm of algebraic thinking, asking them to find the rule that governs a table of data. This skill is also available in Canada Grade 3 and UK Year 4.
